China Glaze Prismatics Collection

Hello Readers,

Ok, today I have a really quick post of the China Glaze Prismatics collection. It's clear that 3 are my favorite and I think you'll agree. Sadly, I didn't even bother to swatch 'Ray-Diant' because it's just not that pretty in my opinion and well... I only have 5 fingers.

These polishes can all be purchased now from one of my favorite eBay sellers here, they combine shipping to a reasonable cost and ship FAST!!! You can pick what colors you want so you don't have to order the whole collection.

I hope these swatches help you guys, all the photos were taken in natural light with my phone (yeah... should have a real camera by next week!). All and all I would recommend 'Liquid Crystal', 'Optical Illusion' and 'Prism'. I think 'Full Spectrum' isn't bad, just not too exciting and it's the most sheer of all 6 polishes. I definitely wouldn't get 'Polarized' (looks like fine silver glitter with specs of larger multi-color glitter which isn't too exciting) or 'Ray-Diant' (sort of a green-yellow-gold fine glitter with specs of larger multi-color glitter which isn't too exciting or pretty to me). One thing I did with these swatches is I applied 2 coats of the polish and 2 layers of top coat so it would be smoother.

    Thanks for swatching those! I liked Ray-Diant from the PR pics. Optical Illusion looks interesting, the rest... I can't decide if I like these enough to get them!?

      You're welcome! Liquid Crystal is definitely a good one because it has the blue and purple duochrome, the ones that don't have it are just 'pretty glitters' to me.

    Thanks for these swatches! I saw other swatches of 3 polishes and they all seemed the same, but now I kinda see the real deal :)

    Oh they do look prettier with top coat on! Hmm... the glitters look quite dense. Maybe Full Spectrum will be good for layering since it's sheer?

      They are very dense, because there's color in the base already with a super fine glitter then the larger multi-color glitter makes it look 'chunky' - Full Spectrum would look good if you layered it - I have to do a good mani for Saturday night so I make use that idea ;o)

    I also meant to add that Prism and Liquid Crystal look very similar on the nail,although it's obvious they are different in the bottle. I just love all the holo glitter in these,so pretty!

      Yeah, in person they're quite different. I JUST got an awesome camera today so my next post will show colors better ;o)

    You took some amazing photos! Even on your phone :) However, my heart SANK when I saw the multi-colored glitter in these! Why oh WHY did they ruin these gorgeous creations with it!??! :'(
